Paste a chat
Turn a WhatsApp chat, email or note into a lead, with names kept from the AI.
Enquiries often arrive as a forwarded chat or a long message. Fill from a pasted chat turns one into a lead in seconds.
How to use it
- Open New person and choose Fill from a pasted chat.
- Type the person's name yourself.
- Paste the chat, email or note.
- Click Fill. Check the fields, change anything that's wrong, and save.
What fills what
| Field | Filled by | How |
|---|---|---|
| Name | You | Typed by you. Never asked of the AI |
| Phones and emails | Compass | Found in the text by pattern, without AI. Phones are stored in international format |
| Course | AI | Matched to one of your courses |
| City | AI | From what the person wrote |
| Note | AI | A short summary of what they asked about |
What the AI sees
Before the text goes to the AI, Compass replaces:
- the name you typed, and the names of everyone who wrote in a WhatsApp chat export;
- every phone number and email address.
So the AI reads, for example, "[Person 1]: Do you have weekend batches? I stay in Thane", and never learns who [Person 1] is.
Tip: Try it on the website's live sandbox to see the hidden text step by step.
If AI is off for your workspace, phones and emails are still filled, and you fill the rest.
