Capture leads
Meta lead forms, your website, WhatsApp, email and walk-ins, all landing in one place.
Every enquiry, whatever its source, becomes a person in Compass with an enquiry, an owner and a next action.
Meta lead forms
The quickest way needs no Meta app review:
- In Meta, connect your instant forms to a Google Sheet (Meta's own Google Sheets integration).
- In Compass, open Settings → Meta lead sheet. Set the fallback owner, the default course, and how each form answer maps to a course.
- Click Create and get the script, then copy it. The secret inside is shown once.
- In the spreadsheet, open Extensions → Apps Script, paste the script, save, choose
setupand run it.
From then on, every new row reaches Compass within about a minute. Test leads and repeated header rows are skipped. Platform, campaign, ad set and ad are kept for reporting, and every form answer goes into the note. A row sent twice is recognised and never creates a second enquiry.
Your website
An administrator creates an intake key in Settings → Intake keys for each website, with the source and the website's address. Your website's server sends each form to Compass with that key. The key never goes into the browser. Your developer will find the details in API, webhooks and MCP.
Once your WhatsApp Business number is connected (see Integrations), a message from a new number appears in the inbox and can become a lead in one click. Counsellors keep using the WhatsApp Business app on their phones; chats from the phone and from Compass both land on the timeline.
Pasted chats, calls and walk-ins
- New person creates a lead by hand. Fill from a pasted chat fills it from a conversation (how).
- An unknown number that calls a counsellor's work phone shows up in Calls, ready to turn into a lead.
Duplicates
Compass matches every enquiry by phone and email. A returning person gets a new enquiry on their existing record and keeps their owner. Unclear matches go to People → Duplicate review, where a manager decides.
Routing and the first-call deadline
New leads are assigned by the rules in Settings → Assignment and SLA: round robin across the team, or by course, language or source. The first-call deadline starts as soon as the lead arrives and counts down on the lead and in Today. If it runs out, the manager is told.
